Dana Sheldon
Dayton, OH
Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Dana Sheldon grew up dancing at the South Dayton School of Dance, where she was trained in classical ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, tap, and hip hop. In spring 2023, she graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship.
At UNCSA, Dana had the opportunity to perform many lead roles in both classical and contemporary works. Her favorites include principal couple in Dean Endalyn Taylor Outlaw’s “Shostakovich Suite” and principal woman in Claudia Schreier’s “First Impulse.”
She is beyond excited to be joining Madison Ballet this season!
