Michaela King

Michaela King grew up in Virgina, and continued her dance training at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's Grad Program. She danced as an artist with the company for two years in numerous classical productions including La Bayadere, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, Cinderella, and Peter Pan, and in neo-classical works including Petite Mort, Sandpaper Ballet, and The Concert.
She joined Madison Ballet as a company artist where she has had the honor to perform soloist and principal roles in classical and contemporary works for over 6 seasons. Highlights include Birthday Variations, Paquita, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Sugar Plum in the Nutcracker. King was a guest artist with Suzanne Farrell Ballet where she danced Serenade, and she performed in her first musical, On the Town, as a guest artist with Capitol City Theatre. Michaela is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in political science at The University of Wisconsin Madison, and enjoys spending time with her three kitties Charlie, Yodi, and Pete.
