Katie Cantrell

Operations Associate

Originally from the Madison area, Katie graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. After graduation she moved to the Milwaukee area to work in public relations, returning to Madison a few years later to pursue a career in marketing and advertising. After nearly a decade in corporate communications, she decided to switch gears and pursue her passion for working with kids. She obtained her teaching license, eventually taking a role at a local elementary school. 

Katie joined Madison Ballet as Operations Associate in 2023. A lifelong lover of the arts, she has been attending The Nutcracker since she was a child when it was performed at the old Civic Center in Madison. Katie is thrilled to now play a role in helping children in our community experience the magic of the arts.
