This is your time to shine & join a growing organization. Madison Ballet is a professional repertory ballet company that offers a 28-30 week contract. We are seeking classically trained male and female dancers with an ability to adapt to contemporary choreography to join the company for the 2025/26 season.
Dancers should have a strong classical technique, proven classical ballet training and performance experience, and be able to perform a variety of repertoire including, classical, contemporary, and neo-classical.
AUDITION MATERIALS
We are currently accepting materials for classically trained dancers with strong contemporary technique. To be considered, please send your audition materials to auditions@madisonballet.org. Auditions are held by invitation only.
-Updated Resume or CV: include all performing experience with a professional ballet company, training, age, height, awards received, citizenship, and contact information
-Audition Videos: Videos should have no verbal introduction and use no editing tools within the solos. Videos must be attached via email links, YouTube or Vimeo only. Please remember to include the password in your email if needed.
For those with 3+ years Professional Experience:
3-5 minute variation drawn from the standard classical repertoire
3-5 minute contrasting variation drawn from the standard classical repertoire
3 minute maximum contemporary solo
3 minute video of partnering abilities in classical or contemporary repertoire.
For those with less than 3 years Professional Experience:
Please include a video of center work (ladies en pointe) including pirouettes, adagio, petit and grand Allegro. Gentlemen turns in second, double tours and double sauté de basque. Ladies fouetté turns and pique turns.
