Front Desk Associate

Madison Ballet (MB) seeks a service-oriented and organized individual to provide essential support to the School of Madison Ballet (SMB). The Front Desk Associate greets and assists students, families, and visitors and ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of SMB. The Front Desk Associate also provides administrative support to MB staff members and may assist in special projects. 

The Front Desk Associate should possess a strong sense of individual responsibility and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. This role is ideal for a candidate interested in a career with a professional performing arts organization.

Position Title: Front Desk Associate
Status: Part-time; nonexempt, weekday evenings & Saturday mornings
Reports to: School Principal
Rate: $12-15/hour, based on experience

SMB is the official training institution for Madison Ballet, the second largest dance company in Wisconsin and the Resident Ballet Company of Overture Center for the Arts. SMB offers programming to suit a range of interests, from casual dance enthusiasts to seasoned professionals.

Madison Ballet’s public performances of classical and contemporary programs include our annual production of The Nutcracker, which draws nearly 13,000 people from across south-central Wisconsin each year.
