Madison Ballet was featured on WORT’s Acces Hour on Monday, October 12th, where we presented an hour of music and conversation about the history of dance and its place in our world today. We celebrated Indigenous People’s Day by exploring various intersections of dance and Indigenous culture with our guest, Missy Tracy of Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison.   Rachelle Fochs, Director of the School of Madison Ballet, also shared how her original work, “continue”, speaks to our moment by addressing racism through dance.  Jonathan Solari, CEO of Madison Ballet, and Joe Loehnis of Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra discussed the history of our companies’ collaborations and their future.
